STATIC CONTRACTION TRAINING AND SLOW LIFTING

Even though Slow Lifting is not an isometric training method, it shares a common trait with isometrics, in that it has the advantage of increasing the efficiency of the loading of the target muscle groups by eliminating the use of momentum in the exercises performed. For this reason, Super Slow training is one of my favorite non-isometric training methods that I have used in the past.
